Zuno banka finished its operations in Slovakia, following its takeover by Tatra banka, both part of Austria’s Raiffeisen Bank group. Zuno announced it would end operating in Slovakia last October after Raiffeisen unsuccessfully tried to sell it. Trend.sk suggests the reason behind the failed sale was due to the fact that the Zuno platform was prepared for vast international expansion, but the plans were never realized. A majority of Zuno’s clients have already opened new accounts at Tatra banka, according to the bank's board member Petr Matúš.
