New York REIT has tapped Avison Young to market, reposition and lease 1140 Avenue of the Americas. The 22-story, 245,864 sq ft office tower is located in midtown Manhattan’s Sixth Avenue/Bryant Park neighborhood. The building is two blocks from Bryant Park and Times Square and a few minutes walk to Grand Central Station. “We are excited to collaborate with ownership and look forward to working on this ideally located, fully renovated property centrally located between Times Square, Bryant Park, Grand Central, and Rockefeller Center,” said Todd Korren, principal at Avison Young. “Our team put together a comprehensive strategy for activating and repositioning the asset as well as a plan that will attract a wider pool of occupants and increase tenant retention.”
