Deerfield Apartments in Jacksonville sold to Interwest Capital Group

The Deerfield Apartments, a 256-unit multifamily property in Jacksonville, has been sold to Interwest Capital Group for $22.3m. The asset is located a mile south of Interstate 10. Built in 1989, the apartment complex encompasses 17 two-storey buildings with floor plans ranging from 778 sqf to 1,300 sqf. Amenities include a swimming pool, playground, fitness center and tennis court. Ninety-five percent leased at the time of the sale, which was was completed with a 10-year, $17.2m Fannie Mae loan originated by Berkadia. The seller, KCB Management, bought the community in 2013 for $10.7m.
