Thor Equities acquires Center of Excellence for $152m

Thor Equities has paid $152m for the Center of Excellence, a 48-acre business campus in Bridgewater, New Jersey. The 784,000 sq ft property includes a laboratory, research and development, and office buildings. Tenants include life science companies specializing in pharmaceuticals and health services including Nestlé Health Science, Ashland and Amneal Pharmaceuticals.

“We are pleased to announce the launch of Thor Sciences as well as the acquisition of The Center of Excellence,” said Joseph Sitt, chairman and CEO of Thor. “We have been an early advocate for the sector, having previously acquired assets in Berkeley and Boston and are now ready to advance our global platform with the appointment of life sciences expert and new senior vice president, Bill Hunter. Bringing over 20 years of experience to Thor, Bill played an instrumental role in the acquisition of our new aforementioned trophy asset, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the Thor team.”
