With many Nashvillians already on the road for the Thanksgiving holiday, Nashville Mayor Megan Barry announced today plans to extend a proposed light-rail line that's part of her $5 billion mass-transit plan. Late afternoon Wednesday, Barry said the city has changed its plans to extend light-rail down the booming Charlotte Avenue corridor to White Bridge Road, for a total length of 5.2 miles.
