A venerable Oregon helicopter company has a new Texas owner after a $560 million deal. Houston-based Bristow Group Inc. (NYSE: BRS), which provides industrial aviation services, announced Nov. 9 it will acquire a Columbia Helicopters Inc. for $560 million. The Lematta family, the Aurora company's owners, and current Columbia managers agreed to a deal involving debt, newly issued shares and cash.
