The long-awaited Loop Trolley will begin public service Thursday, following a dedication ceremony, officials said Monday. Originally, the trolley project had a budget of $43 million, which had grown to $51 million in 2017, according to a previous Business Journal report. The trolley is a 2.2-mile transit line that connects the University City Library with the Missouri History Museum.
