The grounding of the 737 Max aircraft is causing ripple effects throughout the airline industry, including pilot hires and promotions at Southwest Airlines. Typically, Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) hosts 60-day training sessions for new pilot hires, called first officers, throughout the year in Dallas.
